Leopard Gecko Projects - *under construction*

Halloween Masks

The Halloween Masks were first pioneered in the late 90's by Albey Scholl when he began working with an ususual gecko he aquired. After many years of line breeding and proving out the head pattern traits, the project was turned over to Paul Allen. We acquired our Halloween Mask male directly from Paul's group in 2008 and have continued to refine the head pattern traits while crossing them into our bold bloodlines.

Halloween Masks hatch out with extremely bold head patterns and unusual body markings, their bold traits continue to develop and mature all the way into adulthood. In our opinion, the most exciting trait about the Halloween Masks is that they darken and lighten depending on temperature, mood, etc. Sometimes they are very dark with lavender around their bold markings and tail. They are an extraordinary morph to view in person!

Bolds / Designers

Bolds come in all shapes, sizes, and patterns. A high quality 'bold' doesn't need to be striped, but should have very high contrast bold markings on the body.  A 'Bandit' bold should have a thick wide black band across the nose.

*OUR EXTREME BOLD BLOODLINE IS NOW AVAILABLE - FIND OUT MORE*

Afghanicus

We are working with select group of Afghanicus, a rare sub-species of Leopard Gecko. These beautiful leos have natural bold markings, as well as a jagged look to their body spots. The majority of Afghanicus (also called afghans) also have the 'four eyes' pattern on the top of their heads, we will be studying the genetics associated with this trait in the afghans.

Bells - Lavender Bold Stripes, Ghost Lavender Bells, and Funky Jungles.

Bell Albinos are a large part of our Leopard Gecko collection at PacHerp. We work with Lavender Bold Stripe Bells, Lavender Ghost Bells, Bold Jungle Bells, 'Funky Jungle' Bells, and much more.

*A note about the 'Funky Jungles'* - This group of jigsaw puzzle-like patterned, high contrast, high lavender bell albinos that were first produced by Mike Ecklund in 2006.  We acquired the bloodline in 2009.  It is believed that the traits from this bloodline are dominant, as they have been proven even when outcrossed through various other morphs.

We are very excited about where our bell projects are going! Make sure to check out the 'Best of' pages to see some of our best Bells from previous seasons.

RADAR's

We hatched our first RADAR in early 2009. He was produced from two beautiful double hets from the only clutch that the pair dropped... talk about luck!

Since then, we have expanded our collection to included a very diverse and exclusive bloodline of RADAR animals.  We expect to have many Mack Snow RADARs, Funky Jungle Bell RADARs, and Bold Stripe Bell RADAR's available this season.

Miscellaneous Projects

We are working with a select group of Sunglows, Tangerines, Red Stripes and Super Snows.

This is where you will see all of our animals that just don't quite fit into our others projects yet. These geckos are usually used to enhance an existing, established bloodline.
