About Us

Who is Pacific Herpetoculture?

PacHerp (Pacific Herpetoculture) is owned and operated by Brittney Gougeon in Northern California.  Brittney has been working with reptiles for 5 years while continuing to build her career as a business development and sales professional.  She also spends time managing Reptile Culture's Online Community and volunteering in her local community.

At PacHerp, we are working with a variety of species: Leopard Geckos, African Fat Tail Geckos, and Knobtail Geckos.  Our breeding projects focus mainly on line-breeding for specific desirable traits like bold markings, lavender stripes, intense high-contrast oranges, aberrant patterns and more.  To learn more about projects that may interest you, please visit our projects pages.

What is the 'PacHerp Experience'?

It's in the way we take our photos, the way we care for our animals, the way we give back to the community, and the way we extend world class customer service to each of our customers.  When you purchase an animal from us, not only are you guaranteed to receive a high quality healthy animal, but we will be here to help you throughout the life of your new animal(s)!

When you contact us, you will receive a prompt, friendly, and professional response.  Expect us to exceed your expectations, each and every time!

Why Did We Choose to Breed Reptiles?

Selectively breeding reptiles is just like an art for me.  Since I am an artist by trade, it made perfect sense to merge my enthusiasm for reptiles into my passion for art.  You will see this reflected in many ways as you go through the 'PacHerp Experience'.   Each day that I work with these reptiles, they are constantly changing and always surprising me.   It's that constant forward motion and excitement that fuels the team here at PacHerp.

How Do We House Our Animals?

Each of our animals are housed individually in appropriately sized reptile rack system enclosures.

How Do We Package and Ship Our Reptiles?

When our animals are ready to go to their new homes, we pack them in brand new, well insulated boxes specifically made for live animal shipping.  We add notes and stickers on the box for UPS, so they know exactly what is inside each package.  All of our animals are shipped overnight for 10:30 delivery via UPS.
